As my Journey in Boston ends quite soon due to my academic and professional opportunities in Miami, I want to enjoy everything this beautiful city offers, its wonderful landscapes, climate, and many other great attributes this city possesses. After five years of living here, I think the farewell will be quite difficult.
Although Boston’s weather is freezing most of the time, during my five years, I’ve learned to love this city in all of its seasons, and I’ve even planned on staying for some summers.
Currently, the weather in Boston is perfect for having a picnic in the park, disconnecting a bit from the news, and the outside world and most importantly, I enjoy spending some quality time with my loved ones, while getting some fresh air outdoors.
For the #InsideLivinPicnic, I used many things that I had at home and bought some others. The #OpalHouse tablecloth was the best feature of this picnic, and with such a colorful tablecloth, I decided that most accessories had to be acrylic except the wicker basket.
I bought a pitcher where I placed a refreshing, homemade sangria. The detail of the sliced oranges on top of each glass truly gave the sangria an exceptional touch. Likewise, the cake tray had a unique role in the picnic table. The plates and the fruit basket were things that I had at home. Here’s a tip for you all: before you buy anything, make sure to always look in the drawers of your home, the things you’ll find could surprise you.
Lastly, I decided to use sunflowers for a perfect delicate touch. Sunflowers symbolize happiness, vitality, and positivism, precisely what I wanted to convey.
Hope you like the final result!
